Electronic Music Lab
In 2006, CCE received a grant from the New York State Music Fund to establish a computer music and recording facility.  We used the money to purchase eight Apple computers with composition software along with a teaching station with a big screen monitor.   We also constructed a whisper booth with microphones for vocal recording using ProTools.

Composer Peter Wetzler who directs the composition program at CCE designed the lab.  Students have been trained in Garageband, Reason and ProTools and plans are underway to use the equipment to teach Photoshop and Final Cut Pro.
